This painting was born from an incredibly straightforward and joyful process, bringing together all my favourite elements: swirling clouds, distant stars, and deep nebulae. It is my personal interpretation of the recently discovered WASP-193b, a planet so light and airy it has been famously dubbed the “Cotton Candy” planet. I aimed to create something that felt both majestic and inviting, as if the globe had been plucked straight from the pages of a children’s tale. The result is a misty, colourful celebration of one of the most extraordinary worlds in our universe.
