I truly enjoyed every moment of bringing Cosmic Comet to life, as it gave me a wonderful excuse to play with a palette of my absolute favourite colours while exploring the ethereal textures of a deep-space nebula. While the piece was originally sparked by the majestic path of Comet 3I ATLAS, I took the creative liberty of shortening the comet itself to create a more balanced and visually striking composition. The result is a vibrant, atmospheric study of light and movement that captures the sheer magic of our celestial skies. It was a joy to paint, and I hope it brings that same sense of wonder into your home.
